More volunteering opportunities for training and jobs (Young people are not aware of volunteer services that are available)

Partners should work together with other organisations to create more volunteering opportunities for young people. Advertise and promote volunteering services within schools ad collages and any other young people organisations.

Voluntary work should be encouraged for all pupils

Schools should encourage volunteering.

Young people should have access to long term training e.g. on the job training / apprenticeships

Provide more opportunities for apprenticeships by working with local businesses.

Lack of right information

Professionals should make sure they provide accurate and up to date information on volunteering, careers, jobs and any other info that is relevant to young people.
